Yanzhou IP Design
Yanzhou IP Design is a series of illustrations created for Yanzhou Ancient City, a historic place in Zhejiang Province, China. The illustrations turn regional cultural elements into a character based visual identity. The scenes show local architecture and folk customs through layered colors and a calm atmosphere. All artwork was drawn with graphic design software at 3600 by 3600 pixels and 300 dpi. The aim is to present the culture of the ancient city in a form that suits modern taste and to support its protection.
Yanzhou IP Design Illustration by Pan Shurui was identified as a grand representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Yanzhou IP Design Illustration won the Bronze A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2024. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize that honors exceptional design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
