All We Need is Love
All We Need is Love is a poster that joins Chinese characters with English letters. The design is based on the Chinese character that means love. The character is formed from photographic images and also integrates the English letters l, o, v and e and the number 2023. Photography and graphics processing software were used to create the work, which measures 700 by 1000 millimetres. The poster can be displayed in public spaces. The aim is to show an ancient Chinese character in a modern visual form and to express the idea of unity and peace.
All We Need is Love Visual Communication by Gao Pin was highlighted as a creative example of communication design by the A' Design Award. All We Need is Love Visual Communication won the Bronze A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2023. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that celebrates superior design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
